Darlena is the Founder and Principal Accountant of the firm, bringing over 20 years of accounting experience in both the private and nonprofit sectors. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Accounting, with minors in Technical Communications and Small Business Administration, from the Oregon Institute of Technology and later completed her Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Accounting from Capella University.

Throughout her career, Darlena has developed strong expertise in financial management, internal controls, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency. She is passionate about helping small businesses build sound financial systems, gain clarity in their numbers, and grow with confidence. She believes financial understanding empowers business owners to make informed decisions and move forward with purpose. Teaching and guiding clients to better understand their financial position remains one of the most rewarding aspects of her work.

Her commitment to service extends beyond business. Darlena serves as Guardian and Conservator for her sister with Down syndrome and plans to begin training as a CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) in the near future. Advocacy, structure, and protecting those who need support are deeply personal values that influence both her professional and personal life.

Outside of her work, Darlena enjoys spending time outdoors, basking in the sunshine, dancing, crocheting, and exploring creative crafts. She is a proud mother of five, grandmother of seven, and wife to a wonderful husband. Her leadership is rooted in integrity, faith, and a genuine desire to help others succeed — in business and in life.
